Decklist 

With 2 wins out of 3, duelist Razin sealed the 3rd position at Palembang Duelist Community tournament which was held on May 2, 2021.

Duelist Razin proved that with the right build, the Ice Barrier can do more in a tournament as a dark horse. Ranked third among the strongest decks: Virtual World, Merlantean, and Prank-Kids shows the great potential inside in this deck.

A build that does not use the Frog engine is unusual for this deck because it can't bring up Toadally Awesome. Duelist Razin chose to use the strategy of reducing the cards in the opponent's hand with the ability of Awakening of the Posessed - Gagigobyte and Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. In addition, if Gagigobyte is sent to Graveyard, the second ability can take Spiritual Water Art - Aoi to pull out the opponent's third card.

For example, when taking on Nekroz, duelist Razin carefully chooses which Ritual Monster will appear in the field, and pulls it out with the Appointer of Red Lotus or Spiritual Water Art - Aoi. And also control enemy monsters through Defender of the Ice Barrier so they can't just attack, combined with the Clear Wall of the Ice Barrier's ability to protect Ice Barrier monsters from Extra Deck Monsters. Delaying the opponent with the strategy above is to collect summoning materials for Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, or Trishula, Zero Dragon of the Ice Barrier. In addition, duelist Razin also brought Alpha, the Master of Beasts to control the number of enemy Monster Cards, in addition to utilizing his large ATK points. The use of Lullaby of Obedience is intended to reduce the number of handtraps opponents in the deck and reduce the possibility of being drawn into the hand.
