Even cannot take the perfect wins, duelist Irdhan make a wonderful achievement by sealed the 2nd position at AKARD Padang Duelist Community tournament which was held on June 26, 2021.

Not many duelists think about how pure Magistus decks are built. Usually duelists combine this archetype into an engine in a deck of the same type: Spellcaster. Whether it's Shaddoll or Invoked, which are the current meta decks and may require almost no Magistus at all except for Artemis Magistus Moon Maiden. So it is very difficult for this new archetype to show off in the OCG YuGiOh! July Banlist.

But who would have thought that pure Magistus could become a dark horse in a tournament. This is proven by the duelist Irdhan at the weekly AKARD Padang Yugioh Community competition on last Saturday. Starting from the desire to use a different deck than usual, who would have thought that in that tournament he managed to get rank 2 after facing opponents such as HERO, Sky Strikers and Endymion. It's just that in the last match he had to admit the superiority of Burning Abyss, which was stronger both in terms of control and consistency.

The strength of this deck lies in its ability to control the opponent's game, especially to avoid using Spell Cards, locking them with the Secret Village of Spellcaster. A large number of Trap Cards are also brought in case you cannot use Spell Cards because the Spellcaster monster from this deck is destroyed by the opponent or does not available on the starting hand. The control deck is also relies in Rilliona, the Wonroud Magistus Witch Wardrobe which can counter the ability of the opponent's Monster Card if there is equipment equipped to her and with Aiwass, the Magistus Spell Spirit, you can get "anytime" Crackdown.
