(Deck Discussion) Bandung Duelist Community Featured Deck : Ancient Warriors

Although it is not a perfect win, duelist Sutrisna sealed the 3rd position at Bandung Duelist Community tournament which was held on August 15, 2021.
After its release and becoming hype in the dueling world of Yu-Gi-Oh! and among lovers of the Romance of Three Kingdom story, it seems that Ancient Warriors can only dwell on as a dark horse deck and have never been seen at the top of any tournament. Despite it has a Beast Warrior theme, this deck is covered by the great influence of the Tribrigade which has the same archetype theme, and is defeated by other meta decks such as Shaddoll, Invoked or Dogmatika.
However, duelist Sutrisna from Bandung denied all of the above. He managed to show that no matter how big the opponent is, this deck can still be the best, even though for this tournament it can't be a champion. A good news with the proof even in the middle of the meta deck, Ancient Warriors is not just a deck that can be underestimated by its opponent.
Designed to play as a 2nd turn, duelist Sutrisna includes Kaiju as a measure to counter opponents and "step" on the monsters that he feels are the scariest to face head on. In addition, the duelist's consideration is that the metagame is varied, making Effect Veiler almost ineffective to be on the Main Deck. However Droll and Lock Bird is very helpful against decks such as Invoked or Tribrigade, relying on searching from the Main Deck and will be very disturbed if you can't do it again because of the handtrap's ability.
