Scoring a perfect sweep, duelist Irdhan won the weekly tournament AKARD Yugioh Community which was held on September 12,2021

Soulsword is a deck that is one of the strongest for the July 2021 OCG format metagame. It is very flexible and easy to summon their "boss" monsters with only 1-2 cards. Summoning tokens with certain activations and conditions and summoning Monster Cards with their high level is very easy, for example Long Yuan the Swordsoul Tactician which can be summoned by discarding 1 Swordsoul card or Wyrm Monster Card. And also almost all abilities of the Monster Card Swordsoul have the condition to use the Monster Card Wyrm, so that it can use the Wyrm cards that are on the rise and strong like Tenyi and True King.

Unlike most Swordsoul builds, duelist Irdhan chooses to play a little defensively by bringing lots of Trap Cards and not bringing Pot of Prosperity which can harm the Extra Deck. Just in case if he need a specific Extra Deck at a time. Bringing Droll and Lock Bird due to the local metagame which brings a lot of tutor cards compared to Effect Veiler which doesn't stop the opponent's game directly.
