Grabbing the perfect wins, duelist Randi sealed the 1st position at Palembang Duelist Community tournament which was held on May 24, 2021.

The flexibility of the Orcust either as a deck or as an engine is indeed very frightening. The proof is that Konami TCG had to ban Orcust Harp Horror, while on the other hand, Konami OCG cripple Orcust Harp Horror, Mekk Knight Orcust Girsu, and Galatea, the Orcust Automaton. The cards mentioned above are the core of the Orcust deck itself, making the deck is out of the list in the current metagame. But their existence cannot be underestimated even though their legs have been crippled.

Duelist Rinaldy proved this by winning the weekly tournament at the Palembang Duelist Community. But the champion's Orcust build was unusual. Including the Dragon Link engine in the Main Deck is not without purpose. Their roles are interconnected and there is almost no clash at all because they have one thing in common: they can only summon DARK Monster Cards after their abilities are used. Scrap engine used for the purpose of Orcust Monster Card can be immediately sent to the Graveyard. One thing is certain: they have a function as handtrap baiters so it will not interfere with the main combo.

One thing to note in this deck is the use of Performapal Popperup which has the risk of reducing Life Points by up to 5000 if you don't summon any Performapal, Magician, or Odd-Eyes after the draw card effect is resolved. But this is not a problem for duelist Rinaldy because with the cost of a card that sends 3 cards to Graveyard, it can help dead cards like Orcust Knightmare and World Legacy World Wand. If not disturbed, 3 cards drawn from that deck can also become a combo extender.

Cheating the time rule, it seems that Ghost Sister and Spooky Dogwood are the first choice to fight duelists who take too long to run combos and forget that the time call is near. Not only that, the Ghost Sister itself can also be a savior from OTK and can turn things around if used at the right timing.
