Scoring a perfect sweep, duelist Rafael won the weekly tournament Yugioh Yogyakarta which was held on May 29, 2021.

The current Elemental HERO is now no longer the Elemental HERO we knew before: from control decks that rely on Trap Cards as defense and Fusion Summons, to combo decks that produce Monster Cards with greater strength, still with the feel of Fusion Summon.

Winning the weekly tournament in the Yugioh Yogya community, duelist Rafael proved that HERO still relevant in the March 2021 TCG Banlist metagame. In the midst of a meta-storm dominated by Zoodiac Tri-Brigade, Virtual World and Shaddoll Invoked in fact did not hold back this deck to lead them to victory .

If the HERO in the past was oriented with field control and took the first turn, duelist Rafael's version of HERO tends to choose the second turn. This decision is not without reason. Because now HERO is indeed designed to be able to directly give OTK to his opponent.

To ensure that combos continue to run uninterrupted, Isolde the Two Tales of Noble Knights is no longer carried in the Extra Deck. This is because the effects are easily hit by handtraps such as the Veiler Effect or Ash Blossom, which allows this HERO combo to stop early. And also card restrictions such as Fusion Destiny, which only allows summoning HERO Monster Cards after activation, making it difficult for the Link Monster to be summoned.
